1. Temple Wall 2. Universal Temple- This place of worship is officially dedicated to all of the goodly gods, but the largest group of followers and custodianship of the temple complex is held by the priesthood of Erastil. The deities with actual clergy include: a. Erastil- Headed up by High Priest Jeril Starstrider (Elf Clr 5). Total clergy is made up of 5 other lesser brothers. b. Iomedae- Second largest base of worship, Father Michael Johns (Human Clr 3) and 3 accolytes minister to the masses. A contingent of Iomedan Paladins from the church’s Order of the Shield also provide security for the temple as the secular officers are not allowed to patrol temple grounds. c. Gozreh- The other deity with an actual clerical presence in Blackwall by dint of the town’s reliance on nature to provide for the people. Gozreh is given much worship and his circle is headed by Druid Cintia of the Talenwood Grove (Gnome Dru 4). The rest of the grove does not provide direct services in the Temple itself, preferring to meet in the Talenwood itself.
The Temple also is host to shrines for most of the other deities of the realm. Dedicated shrines include: a. Torag
f. Pharasma 3. Smithy- This is the source for all tools and rudimentary weaponry that the community requires. The local smith, Hrothar Skaalder (Dwarf Exp 2), is a jovial dwarf who frequents the temple of Cayden Cailean when not working the forge. 4. Fest Grounds- This patch of park-like area is used by the locals for festivals and feastdays and general large events. 5. The Owl’s Wisdom- Curio shop catering to passing knowledge seekers. Shop owner is Phillip Ashenvale (Human Wiz3/Clr of Irori 1). The shop sells minor magical effects and is a repository for books and knowledge. It also contains a shrine to Irori, maintained by Phillip himself. 6. The Feasthall- Alehouse extraordinaire and temple to Cayden Cailean. A boisterous human by name of Honest Jack runs the tavern and maintains the shrine to the drunken god. Many of the townsfolk as well as passing caravaners, hunters, and forestmen can be found here at all hours of the day. 7. Mayoral Estate- This parcel of land is granted to the mayor of Blackwall. The current mayor is William Daraken (Half-Elf Fig 3/Sor 7). A good-natured (but sometimes cynical) ex-adventurer, William has been the mayor of Blackwall for the last 30 years. His investiture of office came after he and a group of his closest companions managed to defeat a band of powerful monster threatening to destroy the town on their way through to the capital. 8. The King’s Road- This is the major thoroughfare going through the town of Blackwall. The King’s Road travels along the great Talenwood and is the major artery for the kingdom. Merchants, caravans, travelers and goods pass along the King’s Road nearly constantly. Royal troops patrol the road to keep this artery safe from brigands and wandering monsters. 9. Farmland- This space of fertile land supplies the town with the foodstuffs needed to support its populace. 10. Training Grounds- Here the Order of the Shield trains their own faithful as well as offering a place to train the local constabulary. This is the only location in the Temple complex where weapons are allowed for the laity. In the Temple proper, only the Paladin guards are allowed to carry weapons. 11. Marketplace- Here the merchants come to sell their wares to the populace of Blackwall. Most mundane services can be found here. 12. Upper Class Residential

15. Lost Dragon Inn- Founded by one of Mayor William’s close companions, the Lost Dragon offers a second option for those who are not necessarily inclined to hear about the Drunken One. The proprietor, Alexandra of Kells (Human Dru 10), watches over her Inn with a hawk’s glare. A Druid by trade, she has adorned the place with the trophies of their group’s exploits. 16. The Silken Veil- Local brothel and information hub run by Marianna (Elf Pal 10), a former Paladin and consort of Mayor William. She was part of their adventuring group once upon a time, but resigned her commission in her order to be with the rakish Mayor. She is fiercely protective of her girls and runs the Veil with a no tolerance policy in regards to their safety. 17. Lower Class Residential
